I am a Swedish gal with the absolute privilege to call Auckland, New Zealand my home. This is where I met my husband Josh, and experienced true adventure for the first time. New Zealand is where I’m building my future. Now, we’re based in Auckland and travel whenever we can. You might even meet him as my second shooter!
After four years of photographing weddings, I’m still so grateful to work with amazing couples and explore the world with my camera. I’ve photographed nearly 100 elopements and weddings across New Zealand, Europe, and the U.S. What a journey it’s been!
When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me sipping coffee, at the beach, or thrifting (or "op-shopping" as we say here!).
Sélea is my surname and it links to the Hebrew word "Selah," which appears in the Psalms and is often translated as "forever." Beautiful and fitting, don’t you think?

What would make us a great match?

How would you describe your style?
When it comes to your portraits, I like to have a good mix of “posed” and “candid” shots. I achieve that by giving you lot’ of prompts to do rather than micro managing your posing. I love to keep photos true to their real life colour, and I want my photos to feel alive, warm, and of course romantic! I am a fan of my lanterns at dusk, and dramatic backdrops.
How long does it take to receive my wedding photos?
If you’re getting married during the low season, you can expect your photos within 2-3 weeks. If you’re celebrating in the middle of summer you can expect it to take 4-7 weeks. I always send you 30-50 previews the day after for you to enjoy while you wait!
Do you offer second shooters?
Yes! I love working with second shooters. A second photographer captures a range of angles and moments that I am not able to while I focus mainly on the two of you. They can ensure that all of the little details and moments are documented fully. All of the images are then edited by me so that my style is consistent throughout your gallery.
What should I consider when putting together the timeline for my wedding day?
When we confirm the booking for your wedding date I will send you more detailed information about things to consider when creating your timeline. I’m always happy to help with this to make your life easier, so don’t hesitate to send me an email!
How do you deliver your photos?
I deliver my photos in an easy-to-navigate and elegant online gallery. You will also get access to high res images suitable for printing. I also offer albums if you want to preserve your photos physically!

What do you like more - elopements or weddings?
Honestly, nothing beats an adventure elopement! The freedom, the scenery, the romance is just something out of a fairytale. But with that to say - wedding days can be just as epic! Make sure you make it into your own. There are no limitations!
