I’ve found this is a good amount of time to capture the before, during and after the ceremony - everything you want to remember from your elopement. Of course, you can add more if you really want more of your day captured! ($300/hour)

1:00 pm - Getting Ready at your accomodation close to Piha

Hot tip - get ready in private so you can have a “First Look” before your ceremony

2:00 pm - First Look

Fill your day with special moments - let me tell you, a first look is super special! It just makes your heart beat fast in the best way possible!

2:30 pm - Ceremony!

This is it! This is where it happens. Play a song special to you, or ask someone to read a bible verse. Make it memorable!

Let’s make sure you get photos together with any guests you may have present.

3:30 pm - Picnic on the beach

Get a picnic set up done for you so you can just arrive and enjoy your private picnic setup at Piha!

5:00 pm - Hike to an epic spot

Let’s explore more of this stunning location and go for a hike! Choose between epic cliff sides, waterfalls or more of the black sand beach itself. On the way you can stop and you can read your private vows to each other. Don’t forget to do a champagne pop to celebrate as well!

6:00 pm - Sunset session

Let’s catch the sunset! There is nothing quite like a sunset at Piha Beach. And just after the sun has gone down is the perfect opportunity to pull out the lanterns for those out-of-this-world shots.

7:30 pm - Dinner at your Waitakere AirBnb

At this point I would’ve said my goodbyes so you can wrap up your day with a beautiful dinner at your local accomodation. Hire a private chef and let them serve you a three course meal as you take in what you have experienced during the day.

Yes, location scouting is part of my job! As I get to know you and your vision for your elopement, I’m sure I’ll already have suggestions in mind, but I’m also willing to go hunting for the perfect spot for you. I’m always looking for a reason to go on an adventure!

Absolutely! But to keep the occasion truly intimate, I’d strongly recommend keeping the guest list under 15. Any more than that will be more of a wedding, and you might find yourself considering your guests a little more, and ways to honour them and their role in your lives - which is absolutely valid! But if you’d like to keep the elopement about the two of you, and still honour your family and friends, how about an epic engagement party or a reception dinner when you return home?

Rain can make for some amazing photos! But also - we’ll talk about plan B options during our calls, and make sure they are just as special as plan A. We’ll be ready whatever the weather.

If it’s a long hike, we can pack your dress - or you can embrace it as part of the adventure! But also, being adventurous doesn’t necessarily mean hiking - I’ve shot city-style elopement sessions and they’re just as adventurous as any! It’s your elopement, you can choose what kind of adventure you want to make it.
